A microcontroller monitors the track voltage and adjusts the output voltage of the PowerPack automatically. This way light flickering when accessing the Powerpacks power is largely avoided.
The PowerPack MIDI with 6F buffer capacitors can also reliably buffer power-hungry locomotives.
