The South Eastern&Chatham Railway’s two-plank ballast wagon first introduced in 1919 with a 120 being built over a four year period, with the last of these being produced by the Southern Railway. These ballast wagons would have been used to help maintain the countries railways.
Although all were scraped by 1971, these wagons used the same standard SECR underframe as the 5&7 plank open wagons with the BlueBell Railway recreating the No 567 using this underframe and original works drawings.
